MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Historian Jack Deo was back on stage tonight with another show about U.P. history. Tonight’s theme? Fishing.
Over the course of an hour and half at the ore dock brewery, Deo showed over 300 images of Fishermen and Women from the Upper Peninsula.some of the images dated all the way back to the 1800s.
The show benefited the Marquette maritime museum and highlighted the rich history of casting a rod here in up.
