Marquette, Mich. (WZMQ)- Marquette will soon be lit up with the holiday parade and annual tree lighting ceremony.
The parade will start on the corner of north third street and fair avenue and end at the marquette commons.
Thursday Night (12/5) organizations and community members from around Marquette will come together to decorate floats and light up washington street.
The fair will feature plenty of local favorites and according to the Marquette downtown development authority a few big surprises are in place.
19 news has been told that a certain villain from Star Wars might be making an appearance.
The parade will kick off at 6pm and be followed by the tree lighting.
