MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Dorothy Paad of the Caregiver Incentive Project recently toured Lake Superior Press to witness first-hand the process it takes to bring her second story to life.
“This book is more of a prequel to my first book because the events in this book tell where I got my courage to be a NMU student,” Paad said.
Paad has one children’s book already on her experience living with disabilities with her new book taking the theme even further. Paad said that while the book certainly has its target audience, anyone can benefit from the lessons the story’s main character learns.
“I really want them to walk with a message of how Dorothy had courage to believe in her abilities to follow her dreams and that they can too no matter what obstacles they face,” Paad said.
