MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – Giving Tuesday takes place on November 29th, and the local nonprofit ‘Grow and Lead’ is helping to facilitate more generosity and giving this season.
Grow & Lead encourages residents of the U.P. to give to an organization in the 906 area code. Organizations from across the U.P. are registering with Grow and Lead to participate in this year’s giving Tuesday.
“It’s really awesome it’s such an easy win cause of how awesome to leverage other organizations and collaborate and network with each other to do just this one really big day about radical generosity…and the day is not it’s not just one day it’s a movement.” said Taylor Olson Brutto Outreach Coordinator for Grow and Lead.
Registering with ‘Grow and Lead’ can open the door for these organizations to bring in more volunteers and donations that continue to push the importance of generosity and community.
