having my work in a gallery is something I never thought was going to happen to me. I started painting again in 2020 because of the pandemic and you know, you get sad and a little bit bored, well, not a little bit bored, a lot a bit bored. and now seeing it on the wall in a gallery, I’m so proud of myself

Capelle will be showing off her work at Winter Green Hill gallery this weekend, her cute and spooky ghosts will be on display.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve kind of taken what should be dark and scary and unsettling, and made it into like this joyful silly thing. there’s power in taking those dark things and making them approachable and making them something that you some at, that brings joy.

The diverse and unique community of artists has moved indoors for the winter, and galleries will be hosting guest artists and hosting receptions to keep showing off the talent within our community.
