MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Hundreds celebrated the U.P. holiday called Plaidurday outside of City Hall on Friday, Oct. 7.
“I really love [Plaidurday] because having grown up in the U.P., I feel like it really embodies the spirit of the Upper Peninsula,” Patrick Myers, student at Northern Michigan University, said.
Plaidurday was created by entrepreneur Bugsy Sailor with the inaugural celebration held on Oct. 7, 2011.
This year marked the seventh photo in the Marquette county area.
