The Marquette Office of Arts and Culture announced a new community art exhibit in city hall.
The Signs of Spring art exhibit features work from local artists and is inspired by signs of spring including the blue-spotted salamander.
The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. until June 10.
Signs of Spring is part of Salamander Days, hich is an awareness campaign for the migration of the blue-spotted salamander on Presque Isle Park.
Salamander Days also includes arts and science programs from local venues such as the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum and the Moosewood Nature Center.
