MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A local wine bar is celebrating a decade of service to its community.
Zephyr Winebar + Café of downtown Marquette has grown successfully since October of 2016. The business offers over 100 choices of wine from over a dozen countries, as well as food, beer, and coffee.
The business was originally created by Everyday Wines, before new owners purchased the Front Street location in 2023, carrying its legacy into the new milestone.
“To be able to have an opportunity to run this business with great staff and an amazing community is a dream fulfilled in some ways, but the work continues,” said Zephyr Owner Sean Hartwig.
The partnership of the two businesses remains very close, offering local events together.
“We want to see people come in and enjoy what Dan created, and what I get to carry on,” said Hartwig. “As we move into the next phase, we want people to know that this isn’t just a special place for a special occasion, it’s a special place for every day.”
