MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Downtown Ishpeming has a unique new business called the Burrow, and it has something for everyone.
It’s the brainchild of co-owner Kitty Capelle, who took her love of books, artwork, plants, and good conversation.. And turned it into a space that is welcoming to all.
She has put together a specially curated used book selection with titles from all genres…
From graphic novels to self-help books. She combined an inviting array of seating areas, intermingled with plants that she and her colleagues have grown themselves, with eclectic artwork from local artists.
And… as the name suggests, it’s a cozy respite from the outside world.
The Burrow offers a unique selection of non-alcoholic beverages and even games for the kids. Kat says it’s a safe space, perfect for self-discovery.
“For me, it kind of is just everything that I love, that I have an interest in, house, plants, books, art, soda, like tasty drinks, and stuff like that. So it’s mostly a social space,” said Capelle.
The Burrow also has collaborative workspaces available for small meetings and working remotely. The burrow is located at 200 East Division Street in Ishpeming
