ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – First responders battled a multi-house fire on Sheridan Road Monday evening.
The blaze started just before 6:30 p.m. According to Public Safety officials, officers arrived on scene and found two houses fully engulfed in flames. Officers acted quickly to stop the fire from spreading to a third house and adjacent garage.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Officers were on scene for approximately three and a half hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by the Escanaba Township Fire Department, the Ford River Township Fire Department, the Delta County Sheriff’s Department, Delta County Central Dispatch, Rampart EMS, and the Red Cross.
