MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Lake Superior Community Partnership cut the ribbon on its new “West End Economic Hub” in Ishpeming on Wednesday.
The new building is both a west end office for the LSCP and a collaborative space for their partners like the West End Health Foundation.
LCSP’s CEO Christopher Germain said the new space will make it easier for small businesses in western Marquette County to access LSCP services.
“We’ve always worked with businesses and communities in al corners of the county,” said Germain. “But this simply means we have more capacity to do even more so folks no longer have to come to Marquette to get those services that they could have gotten in Marquette, they had access to them, but now they have access to them right here in the west end.”
The LSCP plans to continue building its west end services over the coming months.
