MARQUETTE, Mich, (WZMQ) – After Wednesday there are only two weeks left for the Wednesday Night Farmers Market this season. The final one is on August 28.
According to the Market Manager Brian Shier it’s been a good year, with more people and vendors attending the market throughout the season than in the past.
Shier says the Wednesday and Saturday markets will start to see more fall produce as well approach the end of summer.
“Yeah we’re going away from the spring mixes of produce and going into those fall soon,” said Shier. “We have vendors that will start bringing pumpkins eventually, corn, squash, and other cold items.”
The Saturday Farmers Market will continue into mid October, with the Holiday Market coming this winter.
