Tonight on What’s Up with Megan, we are getting ready to celebrate a quarter-century of blueberry bliss!
The 25th Annual Blueberry Festival is taking place in Downtown Marquette this Friday!
The festival kicks off at 10 a.m. with the opening of the Blueberry Market, where vendors line Washington Street to offer a variety of blueberry-themed products. From fresh blueberries and jams to pies and pastries, the market is a paradise for blueberry enthusiasts.
Local restaurants will feature unique blueberry delights, from blueberry pizza to blueberry beer, allowing festival-goers to indulge in creative culinary creations. Many shops will also participate with special “blue” promotions, offering discounts and blueberry-themed products.
Live music will fill the air throughout the day, with local musicians performing a diverse lineup of music, ensuring something for every musical taste.
For those eager to plan their day, a full list of this year’s vendors and their offerings is available on the festival’s website downtownmarquette.org.
And of course, this event everyone loves wouldn’t be possible without its sponsors – WZMQ 19 is a proud sponsor of Blueberry Fest. We’ll have more about this event later this week!
