NEGAUNEE, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Saturday, Yoopers United and the Upper Peninsula Brewing Company are having a block party on Rail Street in Negaunee.
The party will feature over a dozen vendors, live music, a local food truck, and a beer pong tournament.
All money raised from the tournament and donations will go to benefit the United Way of Marquette County.
Nickolas Boyle, the Yoopers United team liaison said the party is a great way to support local charity while enjoying Negaunee’s downtown.
“It’s going to be a nice, relaxed atmosphere, some great beer, and then of course you got the social district down there as well,” said Boyle. “So it’s a great time just to get out, enjoy downtown Negaunee, and try to get the word out about the game coming up in September.”
The block party will begin at noon and is free to attend, but the beer pong tournament is $40 per team to enter.
