Ambassadors from Higashiomi, Japan will make the trip to Marquette to celebrate the cities’ 45th anniversary as sister cities.
The visitors will arrive on Tuesday, July 30 at the Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport at 6:30 p.m., where the community is welcome to meet and greet them. The group will be making stops with Marquette city leaders as well as visiting some of Marquette’s museums.
