MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Greater Michigan Alzheimer’s Association is working to spread awareness about its mission to find a cure.
The organization has the goal to create a world without Alzheimers, tonight the organization held a business after hours, throughout the year the association holds a number of fundraisers and charity walks to raise funds for medical research into the cognitive disease.
If you were not able to be at the after hours in person tonight there are still ways to help the organization’s mission.
“The best way to help is by attending education programs, educating yourself about the disease, you can donate to us, all of our donations go towards research and fighting the disease, another great way is by volunteering,” remarked Jack Vangerlugt the Regional Director for the Association.
