D&D Dog Dynamics Pack Walk for a cause

GLADSTONE Mich. (WZMQ) – What started as a walk to help their training clients keep practicing skills, has turned into a way D&D Dog Dynamics can give back to their community.

This small town training and boarding facility has trained many dogs in different field’s of work. Dogs ranging from your at home family pet, therapy dogs, police dogs, and even fire arms and explosive detecting dogs.

D&D thought what better way to keep all these dogs improving their skills, than to have a pack walk to practice them. After a successful first pack walk Dog Dynamics decided, if we’re going to walk, then why not walk for a cause.

“So it kind of melded and transformed,” said Sammi Grzybowski, the President/ Trainer at D&D Dog Dynamics. “We’re a small business, We want to be able to give back to our community. So we thought, what better way then to choose a non-profit to take a walk for, and fundraise for, at each of the monthly Pack Walks.”

D&D started choosing a non profit for their pack walk about four months ago, so far choosing dog related foundations to give back to. Some of the non-profits Dog Dynamics has given back to include, Canines for Comfort, Delta Animal Shelter, Gladstone Public Schools Therapy Dog program, and this month the UPK9 Training Group.

These walks will continue to be a monthly occurrence, changing what non-profit the pack walks for each walk.

The Pack Walk has chosen different locations around Gladstone, walking through Van Cleave Park, Delta Animal Shelter’s walking trail, and this month the Days River Trail. Pack Walk leaders hope that the changing of location, and walking for a cause, continue to bring in participants that keep their pack walk going.

“You can exercise your dog, get together with friends, and practice those training skills all for a good cause.” says Grzybowski.

D&D Dog Dynamics has two locations in Gladstone, to find out more about D&D Dog Dynamics, and when their pack walks are, visit their website or their Facebook @DandDDogDynamics.
