After being stuck in a warm and humid airmass for these past few days, a cold front pushing in from the north will keep us much cooler to end the workweek. The frontal system will come with more showers and storms, expected to push through this evening into early tomorrow morning. There is a marginal risk (1/5) for severe weather, so be sure to keep an eye to the sky for a few stronger storms. No major rain chances for this weekend into early next week with temperatures running below average for the most part. Heat and humidity build come middle of next week, also brining our next best chance of showers and thunderstorms to the region. Stay tuned and enjoy the relief from the heat!
