Bay Cliff Health Camp put on the parade for the entire town starting right at the entrance of the Camp. Camp Director Jessica says this has become a great event for many of the campers working on strength and endurance. Each department and each unit had its own holiday for the theme. There were uncle sam costumes, easter bunnies, and a couple of Santa’s made an appearance at this year’s parade. The office staff was even celebrating big bays dump day.
“Dump Day that’s a holiday here in big bay, we have labor day easter, we have Halloween, and we have Christmas. All sorts of different holidays” continued Jessica.
Campers, counselors, and the staff commented that the parade, filled with homemade costumes, and the campers walking through it, make it that much more special and showcase what Bay Cliff health camp is all about.
“I think that’s what makes us unique in our 4th of July parade is that we home make all of our costumes all the banners all of the things and our kids put on the parade for the town,” continued Jessica.
