Winds pick up this morning and could gust up to 30 mph in Marquette, and up to 40 mph along Northwestern facing shoreline locations. Tomorrow, these winds die down a bit. Mostly sunny skies and high temperatures hovering around 80 degrees can be expected these next three days, with our next best chance for rain coming for the second half of Saturday. The entire Upper Peninsula has been placed under a marginal risk for severe weather Saturday, but slight and enhanced risks lay just to the south; so be sure to stay tuned for updates. A few storms or showers will be possible for Sunday. Cooler weather can be expected Sunday behind the cold front, with near average temperatures expected for early next week.
