Recipe contest featuring Upper Peninsula (U.P.) cultivated ingredients

How to Enter
Recipes are eligible in 4 categories:
Main Dishes • Side Dish • Appetizer • Dessertsb
- Recipes must feature a U.P. cultivated ingredient (local produce or fish, wild game, honey, etc.)
- Two entries per person, one per category
- Entry form must be submitted by August 1, 2024. Submit printed form to info@upstatefair.org or mail to UP State Fair- Ladies Day, 1001 N Lincoln Road,
Escanaba MI 49829. Online form also available at upstatefair.net - Include a sentence about your recipe, who created the recipe and when, and why you like to prepare it.
- Entries may be brought in any type of container (preferably disposable); it is not the responsibility of the fair to return any dishes.
- Entries must be named and be prepared at home and brought to the fair on the day and time of the contest.
Bring your entry to Ladies Day tent (activities tent) on Friday, Aug. 16, between 9 and 10 a.m. EST
Judging
- Entries will be judged and winner will be announced during the Ladies Day program.
- Entries will be judged on taste, appearance, creativity, clarity of recipe and usage of the featured U.P. cultivated ingredients.
- Recipes become the property of the Upper Peninsula State Fair. Recipes will be published in various Ladies Day promotions for the Upper
Peninsula State Fair.
