Tonight on What’s Up with Megan, we are getting hooked on the Spring Shootout!
Anglers are gearing up for the South Shore Fishing Association Spring Shootout, taking place on May 11, marking South Shore’s first tournament of the year on Lake Superior. The event promises a thrilling day of competition and camaraderie, with registration and a member social scheduled for May 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Marquette.
Fishing categories will consist of total salmon and total lake trout weight of six fish, and the biggest salmon, steelhead, lake trout, and brown trout. Payouts will be based on the number of registrations, ensuring that anglers have the chance to reel in more than just the big catches.
South Shore Fishing Association would like to thank its sponsors, as this event would not be possible without them. Fish for more information on southshorefishing.com.
