Millions of people living in the South and East Coast/Appalachian region are facing devastation from Hurricane Helene. Now, Floridians are again bracing for impact as Hurricane Milton is on its way.
The American Red Cross has responded to those regions to help hurricane victims by providing shelter, food, resources, and even blood donations. The Red Cross and its partners have provided more than 33,800 overnight stays in 227 emergency shelters and more than 435,000 meals and snacks to help those affected by Helene. Some 2,100 Red Crossers are working tirelessly to support victims.
