Signal work planned for M-35 Gladstone intersections June 17

GLADSTONE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Signals at the US-2/M-35 and M-35/29th Street intersections in Gladstone will be dark during upcoming electrical work, which is scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. on June 17.

Traffic signals at the intersections are expected to be dark for 30 to 45 minutes while crews replace electric meters. The work is weather-dependent and may need to be rescheduled.

Law enforcement personnel are expected to be directing traffic at the intersections. In the absence of uniformed police officers directing traffic at a dark traffic signal, the public is reminded to treat it as an all-way stop.

The Michigan Department of Transportation urges motorists to use caution when approaching these intersections.
