What’s UP with Megan: Diving in for the Polar Plunge fundraiser for the Special Olympics

Sarah, Air, Mitch, and I [Megan] are bracing ourselves for an icy adventure at the 2024 Marquette Polar Plunge, presented by Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Michigan.

This annual event promises to be a frosty spectacle filled with daring plungers, pre-splash festivities, and an unforgettable after-splash celebration.

Taking place this Saturday, March 16, plunger check-in will kick off at 2:30 p.m. at the iconic Up North Lodge, where fearless participants will gather to take the plunge into the icy waters. The adrenaline-pumping dip is scheduled to commence at 4:00 p.m., as daring individuals bravely face the cold waters supporting the Special Olympics Michigan.
