Skies look to clear today from west to east as a potent storm system departs our region. Quite a bit of rain fell across the area with some locations picking up quite a bit more than others. Sunshine is expected to great folks tomorrow morning, and western and central portions could see the sun poke out before sunset tonight. Temperatures stay modest for Friday with mid-70s expected; but 80s and muggier conditions will be the story for this weekend and Monday. Late Saturday night through Monday will also feature the chance for thunderstorms across the region however the severe threat is currently uncertain. We’ll have more to come as we get closer to the weekend, but in the meantime enjoy the clearing skies and comfortable temperatures.
