ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Friday, firefighters responded to a fire near Bark River Knives.
Witness video posted to social media shows fire crews spraying water and foam onto a train on the tracks just past the shop. Escanaba Public Safety and UPHS EMS were at the scene. Some witnesses believe a train car is the source of the fire. WZMQ 19 is working to obtain official information from law enforcement and will update this story as it develops.
