As winds turn northerly tonight, expect lake-effect snow showers to develop through much of the region. Most spots will likely see a coating of snow, with snowbelt locations likely picking up a couple inches. Temperatures tomorrow crash back down into the 20s as cold air from Canada pushes into the region. A few chances for snow for the weekend and early next week as temperatures remain seasonable. Take it easy tomorrow morning as some roads may be slick.
