Clear skies this afternoon and evening will give way to a chance for some isolated thunderstorms overnight, and into the early hours of Friday. This threat will be greatest for northern and eastern parts of the U.P. A mix of clouds and sun can be expected for Friday with temperatures rising to at the least the upper 70s for many locations. Friday late afternoon and evening may feature more showers and thunderstorms and the threat will grow higher for your Saturday. Rain showers will clear from west to east Saturday night making for a cooler but dry end to your weekend. Temperatures next week stay generally below normal, but a few chances for showers and thunderstorms will be possible.
