
Michelle Duder joined WZMQ 19 News in September 2022.
Michelle is an Iowan native who grew up in Marshalltown, IA.
She attended high school in Iowa and graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City.
After graduation, Michelle worked for Sprint as Project Manager II. Her primary rolls were writing methods and procedures and the development training materials. She also was and editor of the Sprint sales online resource.
Michelle worked on a documentary, Surviving the Storm: What Storm Chasers Want You to Know. She acted the part of a mother demonstrating how to properly take cover during a tornado. Additionally, she participated in many live streams while storm chasing.
Michelle worked on lunacy, a short film using green screens. She acted the part of the hunted being chased by a scary man who was filmed weeks earlier on green screens.
Michelle worked on The Shunned, an old western filmed on a set in Leavenworth, KS. She acted the part of a bar maid murdered with an axe to the back of the head.
Michelle moved from Kansas City to Marquette Michigan in the spring of 2011. She has worked throughout the years in bookkeeping, hospitality, as legal assistant and substitute teaching across the Central UP.
Although Michelle ventured to Colorado from 2017 to 2020, she returned to the land and people she loves. She loves being home.
Michelle enjoys Aurora chasing, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing and hula hooping. She also enjoys the gas she saves riding her electric trike!
