Gwinn Area Community Schools close on the 15th as Forsyth Township Police Department investigates an alleged threat.  

GWINN, Mich (WZMQ) – Gwinn Area Community schools will be closed on November 15th for all faculty, staff, and students. This is due to an alleged threat still being investigated by Forsyth Township Police Department.

Superintendent Brandon Bruce released a statement confirming that they have determined the source and origin of the photo.

“I am pleased to announce that early this afternoon, FTPD confirmed that they have determined the source and origin of the photo. We are working with FTPD and the family through this issue. I appreciate the hard work of the FTPD and the thoroughness of the investigation”, says Brandon Bruce, Gwinn Area Community Schools Superintendent.
