The storm prediction center in Norman, OK has placed western portions of the Upper Peninsula under a marginal risk for severe weather Thursday. Storms are expected to form Thursday evening and could linger into Friday early morning, before more form for the afternoon timeframe. The main threat will be large hail and damaging wind gusts with these storms. We do cool off for Saturday, after 80s for Thursday and Friday. 60s and showers will be the primary forecast for this weekend and into Monday as well. Be sure to stay updated as this severe potential continues to evolve.
