Gretchen Whitmer met with President Donald Trump at the White House Tuesday to discuss disaster recovery funding, invasive species prevention, and the future of Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Both leaders said the conversation included federal assistance for Michigan storm recovery and ongoing efforts to block invasive carp from reaching the Great Lakes.
