MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Wednesday Night Farmers Market fills downtown Marquette with all kinds of goods, including fresh produce and delicious food.

Although the weather was a bit unpredictable, it didn’t stop the crowds.

Kristel Quade of Uncle Chuck’s Farms is helping people learn about and grow their own tomatoes.

“Yeah, you just need a decent-sized pot if you don’t have anything in the ground. And we’ll set you up with fertilizers, your plant that suits your needs, and get you going and planting. So if we can get just a couple more people gardening and getting tomatoes out there, we’ll be Feeding America,” said market vendor Kristel Quade.

The Wednesday Farmers Market runs each week from 5 pm till 8 pm until the end of August
