MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Negaunee Post is investigating a report of threats made towards the Culver’s restaurant in Marquette. Currently, there is no known danger to the public.
On Sunday, June 8, MSP received a report that alleged threats had been made against the restaurant. The threats appear to have been directed specifically at the Marquette Culver’s location and not at any specific individuals.
When the investigation began, the restaurant temporarily closed as a precaution in response to the reported threats. MSP troopers responded to Culver’s and have been actively investigating the reported threats. The Marquette Culver’s is currently closed, with plans to resume normal operations on Monday, June 9.
