Marquette County measles case reported

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A measles case was reported on Thursday, May 29 by the Marquette County Health Department.

Anyone who visited these locations at any of these times should contact the Marquette County Health Department at 906-475-9977 and monitor any possible symptoms for 21 days.

This was reportedly the first measles case in Marquette County over the last 30 years. The MCHD is working alongside the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to investigate this situation and prevent further spread of the disease.
