Marquette County's Sawyer Regional Airport is expanding service. Beginning January 3rd delta will be flying from Marquette to Minneapolis, resurrecting a route canceled in 2022.

K.I. SAWYER, Mich. (WZMQ) – Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport announced a second daily American Airlines arrival and departure. The Airport Director Duane DuRay said the new flights will add more flexibility for passengers.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to announce this additional flight to better serve our passengers,” said DuRay. “The expanded schedule provides more flexibility for both business and leisure travelers, making it even easier to connect to major hubs and destinations across the country.”

community and surrounding areas. American Airlines has enhanced its schedule with a new afternoon flight, complementing the existing service and providing greater flexibility for

passengers.
