MUNISING, Mich. (WZMQ) – A trail within the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore has been closed until further notice.
On April 28, approximately 75 feet of the paved Munising Falls Trail was washed out due to recent heavy rainfall and seasonal snow melt. As a result, there is currently no safe access point to view Munising Falls.
Travel in the Munising Falls area is strictly prohibited to protect both visitors and sensitive natural resources.
