Fugitive extradited to Dickinson County for criminal sexual conduct charges

DICKINSON COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – A California man, also a previous resident of Norway, has been extradited to Dickinson County on several charges of criminal sexual conduct.

23-year-old Trentin McWilliams is charged with one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of accosting a child for immoral purposes for allegedly sexually assaulting a child in 2018.

He’s also charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in a separate incident involving a 14-year-old in October of 2022.

Funding for his extradition was made through Operation Survivor Justice, a partnership between the Michigan Department of Attorney General, local prosecutors, and the U.S. Marshals Service. The partnership aims to locate, catch, and return Michigan fugitives with outstanding sexual assault warrants.
