KINGSFORD, Mich. (WZMQ) – In an intense showdown at Kingsford High School for the MHSAA Division 4, Regional 25 semifinals, it was Forest Park against North Central. With just 56 seconds remaining on the clock, Forest Park led 41-29. Freshman Vic Giuliani stepped up to the free throw line, making the first but narrowly missing the second shot. The Jets gained possession, but Senior #24 Hunter Robinson’s attempt fell short. Forest Park’s Junior #3 Gabe Quevedo secured the rebound and, after missing his first shot, sunk the second. As the ball returned to the Jets, Senior Mercier (#5) took a shot, but it didn’t connect. Giuliani seized the ball, thrilling the Trojans (and their fans) with an epic slam dunk to seal the victory. The final score: 45-31, in favor of the Trojans. What a game!
