The Bring Home Happiness event is a partnership between UPAWS and the Best Friends Animal Society.
The national adoption event brings together animal welfare organizations across the country with the goal of saving more animals’ lives by connecting them with future families.
Starting Friday, Sept. 16, eligible animals will be listed on UPAWS’ website. All animals one year and older are eligible for adoption with no fee.
Ann Brownell, Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator, “All of our adoptions include the spay or the neuter, the vaccines, rabies immunization, microchip, health check and of course a ton of love.”
The shelter is located at 815 S M-553 in Sands Township and is open by appointment.
Call UPAWS with questions at 906-475-6661 or email info@upaws.org.
