The UP 200 dog sled race unveiled a new logo on Monday that a Northern Michigan University student designed.
Graphic design student Ania Hyatt, a volleyball player, spent the summer working on its design.
“We went through so many different variations from the sketches to the final product. You don’t really get these opportunities as a student, so I’m very thankful that I’ve had the team behind me mentoring me through this” said Hyatt.
The UP 200 Powered by NMU will occur from February 16th through the 20th.
