The twenty-five-year-old kid’s cove has recently completed its crowdfunding goal but is still fundraising for the new all-inclusive playground.
Chair of Playground For All Committee, Nheena Weyer Ittner told me that they will be hosting a fundraising event at the Northern Center at Northern Michigan University on September 14th. Ittner said that they are fundraising until the end of September and “any extra money we raise beyond the one-point-four million will go towards any unexpected expenses, but everything will get invested back into the playground.”
